TIL Desk/National/New Delhi/ All India Congress Committee’s observer for Chhattisgarh, Mallikarjuna Kharge says all MLAs have unanimously authorised AICC President Rahul Gandhi to select the Congress Legislative Party leader (for Chhattisgarh). Whatever decision he takes, the MLAs are ready to accept.
Congress President Rahul Gandhi, who paid his tribute to people who lost their lives in the terrorist attack on Parliament on December 13, 2001 said on the CM choices for the three states, “We are taking inputs from different people in the party. We are taking inputs from MLAs, from workers. You will see a Chief Minister soon.”
Reports say in Madhya Pradesh, it’s more or less likely that Kamal Nath will be the CM. In Chhattisgarh, Bhupesh Baghel will be the CM. However, in Rajasthan, PCC chief Sachin Pilot, who worked hard to ensure a 99-seat win, may or may not be the CM. The Congress President has said he is looking for a comprehensive answer before a decision is taken on the names.
