TIL Desk Sports/ The One-Day International squad for the five-match home series against New Zealand will be selected today. The Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) said that the team will be announced by the newly-appointed selection committee after its first meeting in Delhi.
The new All-India Senior Selection Committee, led by former wicketkeeper MSK Prasad, was chosen on September 21. The first ODI between India and New Zealand will be played in Dharamsala on October 16.
The five-match series ends in Visakhapatnam on October 29. Mahendra Singh Dhoni is expected to continue as the captain. Virat Kohli-led Team India has taken an unassailable 2-0 lead after winning the first two games. The third and final Test begins on Saturday in Indore.
