Talking about the film, Rakulpreet said that the story of Chhatriwali film is based on safe sex and sex education. The lead actress of the film is Rakul Preet Singh, who is seen in the role of Sanya Dhingra in the film. She told that this film was shot in Lucknow itself. During the shooting of the film for about a month, she had roamed all over Lucknow.
She told that today we have reached the 21st century, in spite of all this, we shy away from talking about sex education.
