TIL Desk Lucknow/ A discussion on “Make-in-India/Uttar Pradesh and Start-ups, Opportunities and Challenges” was organized under the joint aegis of Jaipuria Institute of Management and Association of Indian Industries. The participants got a valuable opportunity to learn about the Make-in-India initiative and the opportunities and challenges faced by start-ups in Uttar Pradesh and gained insights from experts in the field. The dignified presence of Mohit Suri, Chairman, IIA Lucknow Chapter was notable on this occasion.
Yawar Ali Shah, Vice Chairman, Association of Indian Industries and Co-Founder and CEO, AMA Herbal Group of Companies also answered to various questions like , “How to determine if someone is capable of doing business and what are the challenges to overcome in the initial stages” ? to which Shah replied, “Success in business and life depends on your ability to overcome inner doubts and challenges. This fighting spirit comes with experience and once one is able to overcome the doubt in mind then nothing stands in your way”.
Shah further added that “Confidence is the key to success, and there are two types of confidence, one is enthusiasm and passion and the other is the confidence that comes with experience and mental ability. It is also important to have proper counselling and guidance, which can be obtained with the help of experts. He also gave the principle of 3 N’s for success saying, “Following the golden rules of Niyam (rules), Niti (policy) and Niyat (intention) helps one expand business and achieve success”, said Yawar Ali Shah.
During the session Manish Sinha, General Manager, SIDBI, Vivek Ladhani, Managing Director, Brindavan Bottlers Private Limited, Nipun Madan, Stock Expert, Rajat Mehra, Partner, Rajat Chemical Industries also expressed their views.
