TIL Desk Lucknow/ The All India Forensic Science Entrance Test (AIFSET) 2022-23 has been scheduled for July 24, an official statement said on Wednesday. AIFSET is an all-India entrance test for forensic science courses at its various partner universities. Candidates interested in pursuing a career in this field can apply for the examination latest by July 23, it said. “It will be a 60-minute online entrance exam to be conducted at various centres across the country,” Swati Bajpai, Project Coordinator, said in the statement.
Students can go on to pursue careers such as Forensic Experts where will be in charge of gathering evidence, examining crime scenes, and performing autopsies; Forensic Scientist, where they will be required to work at crime sites and gather and evaluate any data that may be utilized as proof to solve a case; Crime Reporter or Journalist for media organizations; and Forensic Psychiatrist, where in addition to dealing with patients, they work with judicial and legal system to provide assistance in criminal cases.
