TIL Desk Lucknow/ It was a moment of great pride when City International School, Manas City observed the 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on 15th August 2022 with immense zest and zeal. In the beginning, Special Guest for the occasion, the Managing Director of the school, Robert Gandhi was extended a warm welcome by all. The celebrations commenced with the salutations and flag hoisting by the Superior Principal of CIS and NIS Roli Tripathi, accompanied by the Principal of the school Bitto Agarwal and Robert Gandhi.
The cultural program was marked by some very vibrant and energetic programs which included a special performance in the form of a patriotic song rendered by children of Ektara School. The patriotic feeling left an electrifying impact on all with a power packed performance by students of City International School through various patriotic songs, poem recitation, thematic dance presentations, instrumental and vocal rendition of some highly motivational songs along with a perfect skate display, which were the highlights of the day and left everyone spell bound.
The program concluded with a strong inspirational message by Robert Gandhi. Superior principal Roli Tripathi appreciated the contribution of all the children and teachers for observing the day with full commitment. Principal, Bitto Agarwal emphasized that the children, who are the future of tomorrow, have every possible potential in them to deliver the best. The day also held its importance for CIS as the Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 22-23 took place and the newly elected Student Council was sworn in, in different capacities. The program concluded with sweet distribution and some sweet memories as take aways.
