Medanta Hospital, Lucknow, has launched a significant initiative for senior citizens by starting a free OPD service at the Second Innings Senior Citizens Club in Ashiyana. The aim of this initiative is to provide elderly individuals with access to experienced doctors close to their homes, helping them avoid the inconvenience of traveling to hospitals.
Senior Physician Dr. Mahim Mittal, Director – Internal Medicine, will provide medical consultations in this OPD. With over 25 years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Mittal has been actively involved in treating complex health conditions. The OPD will be held on the first Wednesday of every month from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Speaking about the initiative, Dr. Mahim Mittal said, “Our goal is to ensure that senior citizens receive timely and appropriate medical advice and care. As people age, several health issues arise, which can be better managed through regular check-ups and guidance. Such OPDs will bring expert services closer to patients and reduce their difficulties.”
Atul Dubey, Founder of the Second Innings Senior Citizens Club, shared that such services are extremely important for the elderly, as they often face challenges in reaching hospitals. He added that this initiative will not only help raise awareness about health but also prove to be life-saving during critical situations. On behalf of the club members, he expressed gratitude to Medanta for this initiative.
This free OPD is being conducted at 1289, Sector K, Ashiyana, Lucknow, where senior citizens can easily visit and seek expert medical advice for their health concerns.
