He started his career as an assistant director to Verma in ‘Rakta Chatrittra’ and later on went on to work as an executive producer on Verma’s several other projects, including working on the latter’s magnum opus Sarkar 3 in 2017.
Since then, he has evolved and grown into an independent filmmaker. He has produced and directed multiple short films and music videos, some of which have garnered views in millions, receiving appreciation from across the globe.
Mr Pradeep Khairwar’s most popular series ‘Blind Love’ which he made for FNP Films was a hit. It was watched by millions of viewers across the globe who poured their love on the characters and the story limitlessly. ‘Blind Love’, was an exceptional love story from the mountains, which revolved around two prime characters, Naina and Rohan, who went through a turbulent journey, but their love refused to fade.
He is now out with his debut feature film ‘Aayushmati Geeta Matric Pass’ which will soon be available to the viewers to watch. The film’s plot is based around education and women empowerment. Mr. Khairwar, through this film, has tried to bring out the best in terms of uplifting women’s stature in the typical Indian patriarchal societal setting.
Kashika Kapoor has played the lead role of Geeta in the film. Actors like Alka Amin, Atul Shrivastava, Anuj Saini, and Pranay Dixit have also played a pivotal role in the movie.
The entire shoot of the film has been done in the city of Varanasi. He has spent a large chunk of his life in the city of Mumbai, but he originally hails from Benaras. He is a devotee of Lord Shiva. Kashi being his native place was an easy pick for him to kick start his debut feature film journey from the holy city.
In a time of disappointment and despair from the film industry, when the Box Office is seeing a stagnant and sluggish growth phase, and film audiences are missing the magic in newly released movies. It’s high time they are served with something that they are looking for- the relatable aspect in the movie and the story through which the audience can connect themselves. Mr Khairwar has come up with his debut film to perhaps fulfill the audience’s expectations.
He has been at the forefront of amplifying voices of women and empowering them, not only on-screen but also off-screen. He has given opportunities to several women to be a part of his team to learn and grow. Many women have found themselves in a position of exercising self-independence and creative freedom while working under his supervision in multiple teams.
