CII Organized Infrastructure Conclave-2026

TIL Desk Lucknow:👉The Uttar Pradesh Infrastructure Conclave 2026, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), focused on crucial themes such as infrastructure development, urban expansion, and affordable housing in Uttar Pradesh. Experts from various sectors participated and shared their insights. The conclave featured detailed discussions on infrastructure growth, religious tourism, and the needs of future cities.

The event was attended by Housing Commissioner Balkar Singh, CEO of Noida International Airport Christoph Schnellmann, and Business Head of Omaxe India Mr. Anjani Kumar Pandey.

During the program, the Housing Commissioner shared information about the housing schemes and policies being implemented by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The CEO of Noida International Airport explained how Asia’s largest greenfield airport has been designed while keeping future passenger capacity expansion in mind.

Anjani Kumar Pandey, Business Head of Omaxe India, stated that infrastructure is playing a backbone role in achieving Uttar Pradesh’s goal of becoming a $1 trillion economy. For infrastructure investment in any state, law and order, road connectivity, and availability of power are essential, and Uttar Pradesh has made remarkable progress in all three sectors in recent years. Additionally, increasing air connectivity in the state is further accelerating development.

At one point, western Uttar Pradesh was primarily recognized for development, but currently, eastern regions such as Ayodhya, Prayagraj, Varanasi, and Gorakhpur are being developed as major spiritual tourism hubs. This growth is not seasonal but continues throughout the year.

Uttar Pradesh is often referred to as the capital of expressways. A large number of Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities are now connected through these expressways. As a result, the real estate sector has extensive opportunities for infrastructure development in these cities. With continuous investment in infrastructure, Uttar Pradesh currently offers a highly favorable environment for investment.
