In anticipation of the Holi festival, teams from Suez and the Jalkal department have launched a citywide sewer cleaning campaign. Especially in the narrow streets of older areas, where cleaning with large machines is not possible, Suez is using robotic technology to clean sewers.
Suez and Jalkal employees are working diligently around the clock to ensure sewer overflows are not a problem in the city. Special vigilance is being maintained in sensitive areas to ensure there is no inconvenience during the festival.
Akshat Saxena, PR Manager for Suez, said, “Our team is working diligently ahead of the Holi festival. We’re ensuring that no sewerage problems arise that could spoil the festival. Furthermore, we’ve created a special team that will be available on the day of the festival to address any sewerage issues that arise immediately.”
