Davaindia, a leading healthcare initiative under Zota Healthcare Limited, has announced a major expansion drive in Prayagraj as part of its growth strategy for the financial year 2025-26. The announcement was made during a summit held at Millennium Inn, where small and large pharmaceutical traders from across Prayagraj participated and discussed the availability and challenges associated with generic medicines.
The event highlighted Davaindia’s commitment to making high-quality generic medicines affordable and accessible to the public. Company officials outlined plans to strengthen its presence across Uttar Pradesh by establishing a larger network of outlets in key district headquarters by the end of FY 2026.
Currently, Davaindia operates more than 1,200 outlets across the country, including over 250 stores in Uttar Pradesh. The company aims to further improve access to cost-effective healthcare solutions and increase awareness about the benefits of generic medicines among consumers.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sujit Paul, Group CEO of Zota Healthcare Limited, said that affordable healthcare remains at the core of the company’s mission. He noted that the expansion in Prayagraj and other parts of Uttar Pradesh reflects Davaindia’s commitment to ensuring that quality healthcare reaches every section of society.
The expansion plan also includes several social initiatives in the state. These include the #Change campaign, which promotes menstrual hygiene through awareness programmes and free sanitary pad distribution, the #ComeOutAndVote campaign to encourage voter participation, and the #CareForAll initiative aimed at promoting animal welfare and community well-being.
The company stated that the expansion will strengthen its footprint in northern India while making affordable healthcare solutions available to a larger population.
