TIL Desk Lucknow/ The two-day long MOOT or the Massive Open Online Training for educationists concluded today with the stage all set now for the Global Policymakers Conclave, to be inaugurated on 11 March 2023 by the Minister for Defence, Government of India, Hon’ble Shri Rajnath Singh. MOOT, conducted by Dr Sunita Gandhi, President of Devi Sansthan, (Dignity Education Vision International), is being hosted by City Montessori School, Lucknow.
MOOT kickstarted on 9th of March, with the Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh addressing the teachers through a video message saying that, ” this Massive Open Online Training (MOOT) program for teachers launched by Dr. Sunita Gandhi has revolutionized the education world and opened the doors for a bright future of the world’s children. It has also been the Indian Government’s effort to ensure that education reaches every household and for this we need self-motivated people like Dr. Sunita Gandhi. Her endeavour to make everyone educated by providing education to all regardless of caste- religion, high-low, white-black, is indeed a bold courageous step. I heartily congratulate her for this endeavor”, he said.
Convenor of this program Dr. Sunita Gandhi informed that Academicians from 49 countries and 26 states of India are participating in it. She further said that, “Today, the world is moving fast and we are facing new challenges every day. We should develop an education system that includes the material, human and Divine aspects of education and solves global problems and prepares world citizens.” The MOOT (Massive Open Online Training) will be followed by the Global Policymakers Conclave on 11 March 2023 where many prominent educationists, and other eminent citizens will be present along with the members of the media. The Hindi edition of MOOT is being organized on 14 & 15 of March 2023
