16 January 2025 On the occasion of New Year Wedding Season, former District Magistrate Aradhana Shukla inaugurated the first edition of Indian Silk Gallery Handloom Expo 2025, organized till 21 January at Neptun Auditorium, Cyber Heights, Kathuta Chauraha Road, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. Vinay Kumar, Javed Maqsood and Shri Nivas Rao welcomed the Chief Guest by giving him a bouquet at the exhibition.
* On this occasion, with the cooperation of Development Commissioner Handloom, 100% pure natural fibers (silk, cotton, linen) were brought to Lucknow from all over India. Bengaluru Pure Crepe Silks | Kalamkari | Kanchipuram | Pochampalli Ikkat / Venkatgiri / Narayanpet / Uppada Jamdhani | After observing the exhibition of handloom products like / Paithani / Kolkata Boutique / Champa Kosa Saree and Cotton Saree and Dress Material / Life Style Garments. The chief guest said that I was surprised to see so many pure varieties together. He said that under one roof, products from different states of the country are available to the people of Lucknow at affordable prices. In this exhibition, information about the products was taken from the weavers who came from different states. The products that came to the exhibition have a different identity in themselves.
