FICCI FLO Lucknow organized a special and enlightening session on the theme “India’s Mind, Body, and Soul” at the Hotel Taj Mahal, Lucknow. Rajya Sabha MP Sudhanshu Trivedi attended the event as the keynote speaker. Additionally, Dr. Mayank Somani shared his views on critical topics related to health and lifestyle.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Mayank Somani, MD and CEO of Apollo Medics Hospitals, emphasized the importance of preventive healthcare. He stated that amidst changing lifestyles, maintaining regular health check-ups and mental equilibrium is absolutely essential. He advised people against subjecting themselves to unnecessary pressure and encouraged them to adopt a balanced lifestyle.
In his address, Rajya Sabha MP Sudhanshu Trivedi remarked that India is forging a new identity on the global stage—not merely in economic terms, but also spiritually and culturally. He asserted that India’s greatest strength lies in its culture, family values, and its holistic approach to life.
He noted that today, India is becoming increasingly conscious of health, mental peace, and mindful living, thereby fostering an emotionally resilient and spiritually enriched society. He stated, “Consciousness is connected to the mind; the brain merely acts as a receiver. We are now reaching the very threshold of consciousness.”
Sharing his views on the dignity of women, Mr. Trivedi stated that India represents a culture that accords the highest respect to women. He noted that within the Indian tradition, women are revered as the source of energy—a sentiment vividly reflected in festivals such as Navratri.
He further added that the concept of the mind, body, and soul originates from Vedanta, and that the absolute oneness of the Atma (Soul) and Brahman (the Ultimate Reality) cannot be fully elucidated through the lens of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Citing the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, she stated that the BJP government has worked to ensure that women receive their rightful respect and place in society. She also noted that, in the realm of digital transactions, India currently holds the top position globally.
The event was conceptualized by Simran Sahni, Chairperson of FICCI FLO Lucknow, while the proceedings were anchored by Jyoti Diwan. The program was attended by former FLO Chairpersons—Arushi Tandon, Swati Verma, and Vibha Agarwal—along with members of the FICCI FLO Lucknow Executive Committee and other distinguished guests.
Concluding the event, the attendees described it as both inspiring and thought-provoking, hailing it as a meaningful initiative focused on India’s holistic progress, mental health, and cultural values.
