FICCI FLO Lucknow Chapter organised the third edition of the lifestyle and home decor exhibition Anantam held at Hotel Hyatt Regency in Gomti Nagar today. The exhibition was inaugurated by Lucknow Mayor Sushma Kharkwal and FICCI FLO National Senior Vice President Pooja Garg.
On this occasion, the Mayor said that the exhibition Anantam organised by FICCI FLO showcased women-run brands related to fashion, jewellery, health, home decor and lifestyle. This has given women entrepreneurs a great platform to showcase their products. Such events are a meaningful effort towards women empowerment.
Vandita Agarwal, Chairperson of FICCI FLO Lucknow Chapter, said that the main objective of organising Anantam is to promote small home businesses, especially women-led enterprises and sustainable fashion based on fine craftsmanship. More than 50 designers showcased traditional weaves, western wear, home décor, beautiful rakhis etc. at Anantam. The exhibition attracted a large number of buyers from across the country as well as new brands. With 50 stalls from various Indian designers and weavers including Mumbai, Delhi, West Bengal, Jaipur, Kota, Lucknow and Banaras, the exhibition hall showcased a wide range of offerings.
These included apparel, jewellery and nail art and skin care and perfumes. Lucknow’s big names came in large numbers to shop heartily for the upcoming festive season. The presence of chapter senior vice presidents Simran Sahni, Swati Mohan, Smriti Garg, Vanita Yadav, past presidents, Anju Narayan, Vibha Agarwal, Aarushi Tandon, and Swati Verma and FLO members made it a special moment for the Lucknow chapter. The exhibition was presided over by Shama Gupta and Mitali Oswal. National President of Samajwadi Mahila Sabha Juhi Singh and senior BJP leader Sudhir Halwasiya were specially present on this occasion.
