TIL Desk Lucknow/ CFA Institute, the global association of investment professionals, is pleased to welcome the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow, into its University Affiliation Program (UAP).
The affiliation is in line with IIM Lucknow’s objective of developing competent managers and leaders through high-caliber management education to succeed in the investment management industry. This program is designed to help position students well to obtain the CFA designation, which is the most respected and recognized investment credential in the world. With rising demand for the CFA Program in India, CFA Institute has also increased its footprint in the country by opening test centers in 23 cities across India, including Lucknow.
The University Affiliation Program requires an institute or university to embed at least 70 percent of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK) into its curriculum. The affiliation provides IIM Lucknow the facility to work with CFA Institute to bring practical knowledge into its classrooms. This will benefit the students as they will gain access to invaluable insights about the investment management industry from global industry practitioners through various sessions and other learning opportunities. In addition, select students can also receive scholarships and fee waivers for the CFA Program.
