78th anniversary of India’s independence is just round the corner. Various types of events are being organized all over the country to mark the same. It is in this context that IRIS Event Solutions organized an event named “Run & Fun” in Lucknow on Sunday, August 11, 2024.
The event started with the national anthem. After that, Chief Guest Mr. Manoj Verma, Assistant Deputy Controller, Civil Defense flagged off the Run. The participants started running with enthusiasm from the Samta Mulak Chauraha in Gomtinagar and via Ambedkar Park reached Janeshwar Mishra Park.
Shiv Kumar Nishad came first from KD Singh Babu Stadium. He was given a prize of Rs 11,000/-. Utkarsh Gupta from La Martiniere College, the education partner of the event, stood second and was awarded a prize money of Rs 5100/-. Daulat stood third from the same school and was entitled for a prize of Rs 2100/-. Ronaldo of La Martiniere College stood fourth and was given an incentive amount of Rs 1100/- as the consolation prize.
Deepika Singh, Founder of Iris Event Solutions, expressed happiness over the success of the first event of her newly formed organization. The event included a series of exciting activities after the race, including tug of war, archery, Zumba and yoga sessions. After this, it was celebration time. And everyone danced to the beat of the drum.
The organization’s outdoor media partner, Phoenix Advertising, education partner La Martiniere College and Foster Academy, NGO partner Alliance Clubs International, Koffeko Gifting Partners as well as Iron Craft, Nayanam Eye Clinic and Rudraksh IVF collaborated in organizing the event.
Priyanka Dikshit, Chairperson of NGO partner Alliance Clubs International, Northern India Chapter, and Founder Chairperson of the organization’s Lucknow Business Chapter, said that Deepika Singh, Founder of Iris Events, is a member of Alliance Clubs, and it was a great pleasure to support them in organizing this event and make it a success. It was a matter of pride for the organization to see it happen.
