Jobsgaar launches in 5 UP Districts after a successful pilot

TIL Desk Lucknow/ After completing a successful pilot in five districts of Uttar Pradesh – Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Varanasi and Prayagraj, Jobsgaar has launched its app on Android to help jobseekers find jobs without searching within their city or district. Jobsgaar, India’s first ‘Indo-Israeli’ team with its proprietary technology is disrupting the traditional Search/ Browse model for job search. Jobseekers will no longer have to search for a job – they can simply download or register on Jobsgaar, and the tech will enable the process for a perfectly matched job.

In its pilot stage in the 5 districts of UP, some of the milestones achieved are:

01. 250,000 job seekers have registered on Jobsgaar.
02. 1500+ employers who have shared 60,000 + vacancies.
03. On an average, 7 out 10 jobseekers get an interview opportunity.
04. 25,000 job seekers have connected with employers.

With its mission ‘Mera Sheher, Mera Rozgaar’ aligned with Honourable Prime Minister Modi’s vision of Walk to Work, Jobsgaar is today providing and connecting youth to the available jobs in their own city or district. Leveraging the platform, aspirants do not need to search for a job. Jobsgaar’s smart feature lets jobseekers find only suitable jobs as per their profile and inform them. Simultaneously, Jobsgaar through its technology solution provides perfectly match candidates for interviews to local businesses and companies in less than 2 minutes! Currently, more than 60,000 jobs have been posted on Jobsgaar from just the top five districts of Uttar Pradesh.

We are confident that this is a small step in the right direction.” While the solution offers an easy to use interface, Jobsgaar has been able to derive deep insights into the employment scenario in UP as well as decipher some interesting trends:

Average monthly salary for the jobs posted is Rs 17800.

Contrary to the assumption that only small jobs are available in Tier 2/3 cities and towns, some of the jobs posted are – Sales Personnel, Teachers, Customer Service, Finance, Marketing and Administration.

The platform posted 51 per cent jobs for candidates with 1-4 years of experience as well as 40 per cent job opportunities for freshers. 

Diversity ratio – 47 per cent jobs for men, 12 per cent for women and 41 per cent for “Both” the sections came on the platform, indicating a new change in the state.
  
Jobsgaar’s Co-founders Atul Pratap Singh, an alumnus of Colvin Taluqdars’ College, Lucknow, and Moshe Jacob, an Israeli citizen and entrepreneur, met in 2017. Both are experienced businessmen in their field. While Atul has 12 years of overall experience, Moshe is seasoned tech entrepreneur with 30 years of experience in building technological solutions across geographies.
