- Participation from educators, experts, and students across the country; practical guidance on forensic science, AI, and skill-based education
TIL Desk Lucknow:
The Adinbox Regional Higher Education Summit 2026, held at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, concluded successfully after a full-day event that brought together education experts, university representatives, school leaders, policymakers, and a large number of students. The summit served as an effective platform for discussions on key issues such as higher education, skill development, and industry–academia collaboration.
The event was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Adarsh Kumar, Director of Forensic Science Laboratories. Distinguished guests included Dr. A.K. Srivastava (Deputy Director, FSL Lucknow), Dr. T.P. Singh (Pro Vice Chancellor, Chandigarh University), Prof. Ujjwal K. Chaudhary (Pro Vice Chancellor, Techno India University and Editorial Advisor, Adinbox Communications), and Prof. (Dr.) Deepti Shukla (Principal, Samarpan Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences, Lucknow), among others.
In his inaugural address, Prof. (Dr.) Adarsh Kumar emphasized that in today’s time, limiting education to theoretical knowledge is no longer sufficient. He highlighted the importance of practical skills, research orientation, and a scientific mindset for students, and described forensic science as a rapidly emerging and promising career option.
This year, forensic science was a major highlight of the summit. Experts explained techniques such as DNA profiling, digital forensics, toxicology, and fingerprint analysis in a simplified manner. They demonstrated how even small pieces of scientific evidence can play a decisive role in solving complex cases, and also discussed in detail the presentation of scientific findings in judicial processes.
Various sessions at the summit covered topics including artificial intelligence, the new education policy, creative careers, and skill-based education. Initiatives like the Regional Principals’ Meet, Academic Leadership Dialogue, and School–University Connect strengthened communication among different stakeholders in the education sector. Students also received direct guidance through career counseling and interactive sessions.
The event was hosted by RJ Puneet and host Manisha, whose energy kept the atmosphere lively throughout the day. During the summit, educators were honored under the ‘Principal Award of Honor.’ The organizers expressed confidence that such platforms will continue to play a crucial role in guiding students, connecting them with new opportunities, and shaping the education system in line with the evolving needs of the time.
