TIL Desk Lucknow/ On 2nd of August, Founder and Father of Taekwondo in India – Grand Master Dr. Jimmy R Jagtiani celebrated 47th Anniversary of Taekwondo in India and 10th Hall of Fame – India. During the occasion Pawan Singh Chauhan (MLC-Sitapur) awarded all the participants in different categories of Pioneer, Grand Master, International/National Players, Life Time Achievement award. Grand Master Mahendra Mohan Jaiswal (Trainer of Tiger Shroff and other prominent actors) also attended the event as special guest and gave his blessings and award to various achievers in different categories of taekwondo.
Sudheer Halwasia and Ashok Ku Bhargav were awarded as Pioneer in Taekwondo and Grand Master Gaurav Singh Chauhan still being in his 30’s was the youngest one to receive this highest honour of Pioneer in Taekwondo in Hall of Fame – India. Gaurav started his martial arts journey when he was just 5-6 years old.
Because of the hard work and commitment towards martial arts Gaurav also holds the Chairman Publicity Wing position in Taekwondo Federation of India and Chairman Youth commission in Mixed Martial Arts and Technical Director Position in Russian Hand to Hand Combat Sports and similar important and high positions in many different martial arts federation of India.
