TIL Desk Lucknow:👉Marking International Yoga Day with a commitment to holistic health and well-being, Max Hospital, Lucknow, organised a special yoga programme that witnessed an enthusiastic participation of over 500 people. The event was graced by Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister,Brajesh Pathak as the Chief Guest.

The event began at 5:00 am and featured a community yoga session, expert talks, and health awareness activities. Participants actively engaged in yoga and pranayama sessions, with the programme aimed at promoting the benefits of yoga and inspiring individuals to incorporate it into their daily lives for better physical and mental health.

On this occasion, Dr. Asit Kumar, Consultant- Geriatric and Internal Medicine, Max Hospital, Lucknow, highlighted the health benefits of yoga. He said, “Yoga is India’s invaluable gift to the world, and its significance is being recognised globally. Yoga is not just an exercise routine; it’s a therapeutic discipline. Today’s sedentary lifestyle demands a conscious return to such practices that center both the body and mind.”

The programme concluded with a collective pledge by participants to embrace yoga as a part of their daily routine. Participants also availed of free consultations on heart and lifestyle management and enjoyed healthy refreshments post-session.
