TIL Desk Lucknow:👉Various new initiatives such as a command-and-control centre, increased CCTV cameras and a dedicated grievance redressal cell have been introduced at the Agniveer Recruitment Rally for 13 districts under ARO Lucknow. The rally, organised under the aegis of HQ Recruiting Zone (UP & UK) Recruiting Office Lucknow, is being held at the AMC Centre & College Lucknow from 10 Jan, 2025 to 22 Jan 2025.
Interacting with the media on the morning of 11 Jan, 2025, ADG Recruiting (UP & Uttarakhand), Major General Manoj Tiwari applauded the efforts and dedication of the youth, and their drive to become part of the Indian Army through the Agnipath scheme. He said that the strength of technology has been leveraged to make the recruitment process completely fair and transparent. Major General Tiwari added that the rally is being conducted smoothly and thanked the civil administration and military authorities for their support in organising it.
Over 40 CCTV cameras are installed across the rally site at every stage of the recruitment process. This is the first time such a command-and-control centre has been built for an Army Recruitment Rally, with live feeds of the cameras being displayed for monitoring. A candidate with a grievance can approach the Grievance Redressal Cell, which has access to the camera recordings. The recordings can be shown to the candidate to clear any doubts.
This is the second day of the recruitment rally, candidates of Bindki, Fatehpur, Khaga Tehsils under Fatehpur district and Gonda, Tarabganj, Mankapur & Colonelganj Tehsils under Gonda district participated for the category of Agniveer General Duty (GD) today. Total of 1300 candidates for Agniveer General Duty were called up in which 1039 (79.92%) candidates participated in the rally.
The candidates from Chhibramau, Kannauj, Tirwa & Haseran Tehsils of Kannauj district and Hamirpur, Rath, Serila & Maudah Tehsils of Hamirpur district will participate for the category of Agniveer General Duty (GD) on 12 Jan 2025.
Candidates who have cleared the online Common Entrance Exam (CEE) conducted in the month of April 2024 are participating in the recruitment rally. Approximately 10,000 shortlisted candidates of 13 districts – Auraiya, Chitrakoot, Kannauj, Banda, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Barabanki, Gonda, Kanpur Dehat, Unnao, Kanpur Nagar, Fatehpur and Lucknow of Uttar Pradesh will be participating in this rally.
Candidates are advised to be alert and not fall prey to touts or resort to any unfair means. The selection in the Army is completely fair and transparent with an aim to select the best candidates suitable for the Armed Forces.
