Prof. (Dr.) Manish Singh assumed charge as the Head of the Department of Law at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow on 17th June 2025. His appointment has been made in accordance with the University Regulations, under which the tenure of the Head of Department is for a period of three years.
Prof. Manish Singh is one of the senior-most faculty members of the University and is presently also serving as the Controller of Examinations and Chairperson of the Sports Committee. His contributions in the fields of administration, teaching, and research have been widely acknowledged.
Prior to him, Prof. A.P. Singh served as the Head of the Department from 17th June 2022 to 16th June 2025, successfully completing his three-year term.
The University fraternity has extended its best wishes to Prof. Manish Singh on his new role and expressed confidence that under his leadership, the Department of Law will scale new heights of academic and institutional excellence.
