Our efforts in spreading awareness about kidney diseases and its prevention were supported by the participation of all the people who took part in this initiative. Kidney disease means that your kidneys are not functioning properly, and we aim to educate people about the importance of maintaining good kidney health.”

Dr. Alok Kumar Pandey, Consultant – Nephrologist & Renal Transplant, Regency Hospital said, “Kidney disease is a growing health concern in India and kidney diseases have a negative impact on lifestyle. Kidney disease is often referred to as a “silent disease”. Because there are usually no symptoms in its early stages, the sooner you learn you have kidney disease, the sooner you can take steps to prevent further damage to your kidneys. Even if you feel healthy, but if you are at the age of 60 or above, or have diabetes, high blood pressure, or heart disease, consider talking to your doctor about testing for kidney disease. Your doctor can use your test results to develop a kidney care plan for you. Having a plan can lower your risk for serious health problems like heart attack and stroke, and give you more healthy moments.
