The repair work of the road collapse in the Tedhi Pulia area has been successfully completed by the Suez team, adhering to all safety standards. The road collapse was caused by work related to the renovation of the sewer pipeline in the Vikas Nagar area, which was being carried out by another contracting agency and involved temporarily blocking the water flow.
Suez’s Public Relations Officer, Akshat Saxena, stated that the repair work was carried out with utmost caution and using all necessary safety equipment. He said, “The sinkhole at Tedhi Pulia was quite deep, so our team worked while strictly following all safety protocols. The completion of the repairs has brought significant relief to the residents of Jankipuram Sector H, Sector I, Sector F, Gudamba, and 60 Feet Road. More than 10,000 families have been relieved of this problem, and it is expected that traffic will return to normal in the coming days.”
According to local residents, traffic in the Tedhi Pulia market and surrounding areas was disrupted for several weeks due to the road collapse, affecting daily life and business activities. With the completion of the repair work, people have breathed a sigh of relief, and there is hope for a return to normalcy in the area.
Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the Water Corporation, the Water Supply Department, and Suez, the Tedhi Pulia area is once again moving towards normalcy, assuring citizens of safe travel and improved facilities.
