Netflix and YRF Entertainment’s upcoming mythological crime-thriller Mandala Murders cast including Vaani Kapoor, Surveen Chawla, and Vaibhav Raj Gupta recently visited Lucknow to engage with the audiences of the city. The cast soaked in the city’s old-world charm and shared a glimpse of the show with fans. Parts of the series were also filmed in Lucknow, making the visit even more special.
Produced by YRF Entertainment and directed by Gopi Puthran and Manan Rawat, Mandala Murders is set in the quaint, mysterious town of Charandaspur, where Vaani Kapoor and Vaibhav Raj Gupta’s characters unravel a chilling conspiracy of ritualistic killings tied to a centuries-old secret society. The series also features Shriya Pilgaonkar, Siddhanth Kapoor, Rahul Bagga, Raghubir Yadav, and Monica Choudhary in pivotal roles. As the mystery deepens, each character finds themselves ensnared in ancient beliefs and buried truths — discovering a chilling secret cult hiding in plain sight.
Vaani Kapoor, who plays the investigating officer Rea Thomas, says, “There’s an undeniable thrill in stepping into the world of Mandala Murders. As Rea Thomas, I’m plunged into a universe swirling with secrets, lies, and mortal danger each scene is laced with tension and complexity. Becoming Rea required me to constantly balance vulnerability with fierce determination. The journey pushed my craft, forcing me to dig deeper and take risks as a performer. Vaibhav Raj Gupta, who will be seen in a role of cop Vikram Singh, shares, “With Mandala Murders, you’re entering a world where every clue leads you somewhere unexpected, and Vikram’s right in the middle of it.
