TIL Desk Lucknow/ The four-day Flower Festival has started at Lucknow’s biggest shopping destination Lulu Mall, which was inaugurated by Dinesh Pratap Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge), Horticulture, Agricultural Marketing, Agricultural Foreign Trade and Agricultural Exports. This flower festival will starts from 16 to 19 March.
The festival is unique in its own way as its plants have been brought from the local nurseries of Lucknow. In this flower festival, the nursery owners will be able to show and sell their plants and flowers to the audience.
The sole aim of this flower festival is to raise awareness of global warming, promote local nurseries in Lucknow, and provide attendees with an opportunity to learn about various plant species and fragrant flowers. All varieties of domestic and exotic plants are on display at this flower festival. Existing plants include kochia, celosia, zinnia, portulaca, and vinca (evergreen).
Sameer Verma, General Manager, Lullu Mall said, “This flower festival is really unique for us. By this flower festival, we aim to promote the local nurseries of Lucknow. Over the four days of this flower festival, guests can come to the mall and purchase their preferred plants and flowers.
