A grand tree plantation drive was organized today at the Amrawati Sports City premises with the objective of promoting environmental conservation and green development. The primary aim of this initiative is to enhance greenery in the area, encourage a clean environment, and ensure a healthy ecosystem for future generations.
Approximately 72 varieties of trees and plants have been planted here. These include species such as Golden Bottle Brush Topiary, Triangular Palm, Rubber Plant, Ficus Black, Washingtonia, Foxtail Palm, Calliandra, Chandni, Golden Bamboo, and Fishtail Palm, among others.
On this occasion, Rajnikant Mishra, Founder and Chairman of the Amrawati Group, said that tree plantation is not merely an event but a responsibility toward nature. He added that such initiatives will continue to be organized from time to time to develop Amaravati Sports City into a green and environmentally sustainable campus.
At the end of the program, all participants pledged to regularly care for the planted saplings and reaffirmed their commitment to environmental protection.
