UP Minister Jaiveer Singh Launches ‘Rise UP’, North India’s Largest Real Estate and Infrastructure Summit

TIL Desk Lucknow:👉In a significant step towards promoting sustainable urban development and green infrastructure, Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh on Sunday officially launched the curtain raiser for ‘Rise UP’, North India’s largest Real Estate and Infrastructure Summit & Expo. The three-day event, focused on green energy and net-zero building practices, will be held from October 2 to 4, 2026, at Avadh Shilp Gram, Shaheed Path, Lucknow.

Organized by Regal Nexus, the summit aims to position Uttar Pradesh as a leading hub for green infrastructure, investment, and sustainable development. More than 10,000 visitors, 150 exhibitors, and over 100 industry experts and leaders are expected to participate in the event.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Minister Jaiveer Singh said Uttar Pradesh has emerged as one of India’s most trusted investment destinations due to its clear vision and well-structured development roadmap. He emphasized that every expressway, township, and solar rooftop project being developed in the state reflects the government’s commitment to responsible and rapid growth.

“Rise UP sends a strong message to developers, investors, and innovators across India and the world that Uttar Pradesh is open, prepared, and committed to building world-class, energy-efficient infrastructure,” he said. He further highlighted that under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state is moving steadily towards its goal of becoming a $1 trillion economy, with sustainable infrastructure serving as a key pillar of that vision.

The summit comes at a time when India’s real estate and infrastructure sectors are witnessing unprecedented growth. Industry estimates suggest that India’s real estate market, valued at nearly ₹45 lakh crore in 2025, could grow to approximately ₹100 lakh crore by 2032. Similarly, the infrastructure sector is projected to expand from ₹173 lakh crore in 2026 to over ₹250 lakh crore by 2031, driven by investments in expressways, logistics networks, metro corridors, and urban mobility projects.

Highlighting the broader vision of the platform, Himanshu Kushwaha, CMD of AK Property Solutions App and Partner at Regal Nexus, said the future of real estate lies not merely in constructing buildings but in creating smarter and more sustainable urban ecosystems. He described Rise UP as a high-impact market coordination platform designed to connect developers with capital, technology, and policy support, enabling green infrastructure projects to move from concept to execution.

A major focus of the summit will be energy conservation and net-zero building practices, aligned with India’s climate commitments under the Paris Agreement. This is particularly relevant as the building sector accounts for nearly 40 percent of the country’s total energy consumption. With rapid urbanization in cities such as Lucknow, Noida, Agra, Varanasi, and Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh is emerging as one of the most promising destinations for large-scale sustainable development.

The event is also expected to support the state government’s ambitious target of generating 22,000 MW of solar power by 2027 and its initiative to develop five major cultural and religious cities as model solar cities. Dedicated zones for architecture and design innovation, smart living technologies, and premium developer-investor interactions will be among the key attractions, making Rise UP a landmark platform for shaping the future of urban transformation in North India.
