- UPITEX 2026: A Confluence of Trade, Investment, and Culture

The fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Expo (UPITEX 2026) is set to establish a new benchmark in the field of trade and industry in North India. It is an approved Trade Expo under the PMS Scheme of the Ministry of MSME, Government of India. UPITEX 2026 is being organized by the Uttar Pradesh State Chapter, PHDCCI in collaboration with One District One Product (ODOP) and Invest UP, Government of Uttar Pradesh. This expo is a significant initiative aimed at empowering MSMEs, promoting investment, and firmly positioning Uttar Pradesh on the global economic map.
With over 400 stalls, UPITEX 2026 will showcase a wide spectrum of industries. The handicrafts and textiles segment will showcase Moradabad’s brassware, Firozabad’s glass products, and handcrafted carpets from the Bhadohi–Mirzapur region, reflecting Uttar Pradesh’s rich artisanal heritage.Engineering and leather clusters from Kanpur–Auraiya and Agra–Aligarh will highlight the state’s industrial capabilities. In the FMCG and agri-processing sectors, participation by leading companies such as Radico Khaitan Limited, Everest Food Products Private Limited, Fena Private Limited, Rajesh Masala Private Limited, and Patanjali Ayurved Limited. underscores the expo’s strong business relevance. Active participation from NABARD, SIDBI, SBI, Union Bank of India, and NSE will guide MSMEs toward financial inclusion and improved market access. Kannauj’s perfume products, a dedicated automobile pavilion, and modern technologies will also draw significant attention.
At the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) pavilion, more than 40 leading exporters will display export-ready products, GI-tagged items, and contemporary designs, enabling direct interaction between buyers and manufacturers. The National Jute Board pavilion will showcase jute products made by artisans and self-help groups, supporting sustainable livelihoods.
UPITEX 2026 is witnessing unprecedented enthusiasm this year. A large footfall is expected in the initial days, with substantial business-related enquiries reflecting the state’s strong market potential and growing industry confidence. Institutions such as BIS will also provide guidance on standardization, quality control, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) will organize a Financial Literacy Conference on January 25, 2026.
The presence of dignitaries including Rajesh Nigam, Co-Chair, UP State Chapter PHDCCI; Rajesh Kumar, Zonal Head, Union Bank of India, Lucknow Branch; Shruti Sharma, Regulatory Department, NSE India Ltd.; Sanjay Tiwari, Executive Director, BNI, Lucknow Chapter; Atul Srivastava, Senior Regional Director, UP State Chapter, PHDCCI; Hardeep Singh, Consultant Trade Fair, PHDCCI; and Mohammad Farhan, Founder, Kamakazi Solutions Pvt. Ltd., has further strengthened the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajesh Nigam, Co-Chair, PHDCCI UP State Chapter, said,
“UPITEX 2026 is a platform where policy, industry, and markets come together for MSMEs, artisans, and entrepreneurs of Uttar Pradesh. The expo is creating new opportunities for investment and trade while giving fresh recognition to both traditional and modern industries of the state.”
Rajesh Kumar, Zonal Head, Union Bank of India, Lucknow, stated,

Alongside business, UPITEX 2026 is also a vibrant cultural celebration. Food pavilions will delight visitors with Rajasthan’s Dal Baati Churma, Punjab’s Sarson ka Saag and Makki ki Roti, Lucknow’s Awadhi cuisine, and Bihar’s Litti Chokha. Live music, dance performances, fashion shows, and entertainment activities will make the expo a memorable experience.
UPITEX 2026 represents a powerful confluence of entrepreneurship, craftsmanship, flavors, and culture of Uttar Pradesh, playing a vital role in steering the state toward new heights of economic prosperity.
