This endeavor is at the core of the Government of India’s ‘Micro Nutrient Initiative’ and ‘Local for Vocal’ campaign, which envisions making better-quality indigenous products accessible for the people of India and all around the world.
This partnership is grounded in the shared belief that high-quality salt, fortified with iodine and 84 rare minerals, can profoundly enhance the health and well-being of the masses. Hindustan Salts Limited CMD, Commodore Kamlesh Kumar, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, emphasizing the pivotal roles of NACOF and its associate RKJ Agro and Foods Private Ltd. in promoting and distributing HSL’s high quality salt with different attributes across the state and beyond later.

Hindustan Salts Limited produces salt exclusively from fresh rain water in Sambhar Lake located in Rajasthan. Sambhar salt is the only salt in India which naturally contains iodine and contains 84 rare mineral elements, which are used as a medicine for acidity.
Not only this, black salt made from Sambhar salt is the best natural laxative and has many medicinal benefits. Most importantly, the company’s salt is anti-cancer and improves the functioning of the nervous system. Sambhar salt meeting all the standards of Government of India has pH (Alkalinity) between 9.00 to 9.50. This salt also contains various minerals like sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, sulphate and natural iodine etc.

Hindustan Salts Limited follows decade old scientific methodology for manufacturing salt. In the manufacturing process, no chemicals are added externally, which ultimately ensures purity and prevents the introduction of toxic elements and other chemicals into the salt, which are generally found in vacuumized evaporated/sea salt.
