TIL Desk/Business/New Delhi/ Baba Ramdev’s ayurveda brand, Patanjali, has launched Coronil tablets, which the company claims is the evidence-based medicine for Covid-19. The announcement which was tweeted by Patanjali Ayurved, says the medicine will help treat Corona in 158 countries.
There is no medicine available to cure Covid-19 worldover, except vaccination.
This is not the first time that Patanjali Ayurved has claimed a cure for Corona. Back in June 2020, when vaccines were nowhere in sight and there was no proven cure, Ramdev launched his Coronil kit. After the government stepped in and banned him from labelling it as a cure for the virus, Ramdev sold the medicine as a cure for cough, cold and boosting immunity.
Till October, the kit has sold over 85 lakh units.
