Actor Armaan Kohli booked for ‘assaulting’ girlfriend

TIL Desk Bollywood/ Bollywood actor Armaan Kohli has been accused by her girlfriend of assaulting her following which the police has registered a case and launched a search to find him, a senior official said today. The 35-year-old woman, a model, has registered the case against Kohli at the Santacruz police station here, the official said.

As per the complainant, she was in a relationship with Kohli for past three years and they used to stay together in a flat in suburban Santacruz, the official said.

The duo had an argument over some monetary issue at their residence on Sunday evening and during the altercation, he allegedly pushed the woman and she fell from the stairs. The accused then pulled her hair and banged her head on the floor, the police officer said citing the complaint.

She allegedly suffered head and knee injuries in the incident and was admitted to a hospital by her driver. Kohli has appeared in several films like “Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani” and made his last big screen appearance in “LOC: Kargil” in 2003.
