Shahid works out in Mumbai gym despite govt. guidelines, attracts BMC’s ire

TIL Desk Bollywood/ The Maharashtra government had, on Friday, ordered closure of cinema halls, gyms, swimming pools and public parks in Mumbai and other cities till March 30.

However, on Sunday, Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput were spotted working out at a Bandra gym, AntiGravity Club, attracting much criticism on social media.

According to reports, the gym was opened exclusively for the couple on Sunday evening although it was shut during the day. While Kapoor worked out with gloves at the VIP section of the gym, his wife was at the general workout area, the had claimed.

Following the news reports, The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation sealed the gym on Monday and criticised the actor and the owner of the gym for “irresponsible behaviour”.
