TIL Desk/National/New Delhi/ A Delhi court on Monday granted bail to Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad, his wife Rabri Devi and son Tejashwi Yadav in the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation scam related money laundering case.
Special Judge Arun Bhardwaj granted relief to the accused persons on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh and one surety of like amount each. The court had on January 19 extended the interim bail granted to the three which ended on Monday.
The case relates to alleged money laundering in granting the operational contract of two IRCTC hotels to a private firm. The bail regular bail was granted on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh surety each.
The next date of hearing in the case is 11 February. The court had earlier granted them an interim bail till Monday. After getting bail, Tejashwi said he was confident that they will justice in the case. “We trust the judiciary,” he said.
