TIL Desk Lucknow/ City International School Manas City Indiranagar is proud to announce its recent achievement in the realm of cultural excellence. The school’s talented students have clinched the third prize for Best Cultural Event (Dance) at a prestigious Republic Day Celebrations commemorated  on 26 January 2024 as the school participated for the first time.

Over the course of one month, the students of City International School engaged in intensive dance practice, immersing themselves in a journey of creativity, discipline, and teamwork. As the days passed, the students not only honed their technical skills but also grew personally and socially. They learned the importance of cooperation, communication, and perseverance as they worked together to overcome obstacles and elevate their performance to new heights. The theme was centred on Women empowerment that champions the rights, equality, and agency of women in various spheres of life. It encompasses social, economic, and political aspects, aiming to dismantle barriers and create opportunities for women to thrive.

 Director of City International School Dr Sunita Gandhi’s open-door policy and approachable demeanor created a supportive atmosphere where students and staff felt empowered to voice their ideas, concerns, and creative aspirations.the director’s leadership exemplified a commitment to nurturing talent, fostering collaboration, and promoting a culture of excellence.

Principal Ms Bitto Agarwal expressed her delight at the achievement, stating, ” You don’t have to be great to start something new but you have to start to be great and a little progress each day do add up to big results”. We are incredibly proud of our students for their outstanding performance and dedication. This recognition is a testament to their hard work and the unwavering support of our dedicated faculty members.

Navyaa Bhardwaj Vice Head Girl of the school conveyed her experience stating “Collaborating with the City International School community, our performance in the January 26th dance event was enriched by the unity fostered at the police lines practice and on the D-Day. Grateful for the collective spirit, this experience showcased the vibrant cultural tapestry woven through the collaboration of school and the Uttar Pradesh authorities”.

The event, which showcased the cultural diversity and artistic prowess of schools across the region, witnessed an impressive display of talent. City International School Manas City Indiranagar’s performance stood out amidst stiff competition, garnering praise from judges and audience members alike. The winning dance performance not only demonstrated the students’ exceptional skill and dedication but also highlighted the school’s commitment to nurturing creative expression and cultural appreciation among its student body.
