TIL Desk Kanpur :👉Dr Jitin Yadav, Senior Cancer Surgeon from Regency Health Kanpur, will be departing for Istanbul on October 9th to participate in the International Breast Cancer Conference, taking place from October 10th to 12th, 2024. Dr Yadav has been invited to present his paper titled, “Transposition Flap: A Simple Solution for Partial Breast Reconstruction in Resource-Limited Settings.”
His presentation will focus on the transposition flap technique, an innovative approach in breast reconstruction surgery, which offers an effective and simpler method for partial breast reconstruction after cancer treatment. This technique is particularly beneficial in resource-limited settings, where access to advanced surgical procedures may be constrained.
“The transposition flap technique provides breast cancer patients with an option to preserve breast tissue, avoiding a full mastectomy in many cases. It is a cost-effective and accessible solution that can deliver both functional and cosmetic benefits, particularly for patients in resource-limited environments,” said Dr Jitin Yadav. “I am honoured to present this paper in Istanbul and share the potential of this technique with a global audience.”
