Escorts Kubota Expands DigiTrac Series, Launches Three New Tractor Models

TIL Desk Lucknow:👉Agri-machinery and construction equipment company Escorts Kubota Limited has expanded its DigiTrac series under the Powertrac brand. With this launch, the DigiTrac range—previously comprising two models—has now grown into a comprehensive lineup of five models, covering the 45 to 55 horsepower segment.

Launched across India, this series is designed for modern farming and heavy-duty haulage applications. Escorts Kubota offers three tractor brands in India—Kubota, Farmtrac, and Powertrac—serving the premium, entry-premium, and value segments respectively. The DigiTrac series falls under the Powertrac brand.

This marks the company’s fourth major tractor launch since February 2025. Earlier launches include the Farmtrac Promaxx series, Kubota MU4201, and Powertrac Shaurya Dhaan series.

The existing DigiTrac models—PP 46i and PP 43i—have significantly contributed to Powertrac tractor sales in India. Their design and premium styling have made them particularly popular among young and aspiring farmers.

The newly introduced models in the DigiTrac series are:

DigiTrac PP 46i 4WD

DigiTrac PP 43i Plus

DigiTrac PP 41i

All five models feature larger displacement engines, bigger tyres, side-shift gears, a 12 forward + 3 reverse constant mesh gearbox, Independent PTO (IPTO), and a heavy-duty hydraulic lifting capacity of 2000 kg. The series supports a wide range of agricultural operations, including sowing, harvesting, reversible MB ploughing, and laser leveling.

Chairman and Managing Director Nikhil Nanda said, “This is our fourth new tractor launch across all three brands since February 2025. Consistently launching new tractors reflects our organizational strength. Each launch strengthens our portfolio and brings us closer to our goal of building a strong position in India.”

Deputy Managing Director Akira Kato added, “The distinctive design and proven performance of DigiTrac have established a strong identity among young farmers. Expanding it into a full five-model series is a natural next step. There is significant growth potential for this tractor range in India, and it will contribute meaningfully to Powertrac’s business.”

Chief Officer, Tractor Business Division, Neeraj Mehra said, “DigiTrac has now evolved into a complete tractor series for the new-age farmer. The new lineup offers more powerful engines, a 12×3 gearbox, Independent PTO, and a top speed of up to 39.9 km/h. With the positioning ‘Style to Kill, Performance to Thrill,’ these features were earlier available only in higher horsepower tractors. DigiTrac now brings these advanced capabilities to the 45–55 HP segment. These tractors are fuel-efficient while delivering the reliability Powertrac is known for. We are confident that this new series will be well received by Indian farmers.”
