Leading Indian footwear manufacturer Liberty Shoes Limited has expanded its retail footprint with the inauguration of its 427th exclusive outlet, the Liberty Mega Exclusive Showroom, in Hazratganj, Lucknow. The new store is part of the company’s ambitious plan to establish premium mega showrooms across major metropolitan cities, offering customers access to all Liberty brands and the latest collections under one roof.
Speaking at the launch, Liberty Group Chief Operating Officer Raman Bansal described Lucknow as one of India’s fastest-growing cities and highlighted the strong support the brand has received from consumers in the region. He said the opening of another exclusive showroom in the state capital reflects Liberty’s commitment to strengthening its presence in key markets.
Bansal emphasized that Liberty remains one of India’s leading footwear manufacturers and takes pride in being a homegrown brand. The company operates advanced manufacturing facilities in Karnal, Gharaunda, Libertypuram, Dehradun, Paonta Sahib, and Roorkee, producing more than 50,000 pairs of footwear daily.
According to the company, Liberty currently has a robust retail network comprising over 426 exclusive showrooms, 225 distributors, and more than 10,000 multi-brand outlets across India.
Bansal also highlighted the company’s “Mera Joota Hindustani” campaign, launched in the 78th year of India’s Independence, aimed at encouraging consumers to support indigenous products.
Representatives of Mahadev Enterprises, the local retail partner, expressed confidence that Lucknow consumers would appreciate Liberty’s blend of comfort, style, and value for money. The showroom offers footwear for men, women, and children across various categories, including casual wear, office wear, and special occasions.
Liberty Country Sales Head Ramnath Verma announced plans to open several more premium mega showrooms nationwide, with a target of establishing 25 such outlets in the coming years. He added that Liberty’s leading brands feature enhanced comfort and durability technologies, reinforcing the company’s focus on quality and innovation.
