TIL Desk Lucknow:👉Rotarian Stuti Mittal assumed office as the 89th President of the Rotary Club of Lucknow on Sunday. At a grand installation ceremony held at Hotel Mercure, Karnika Shajwani took the oath as Secretary, and the new executive committee was formally constituted. The event marked the beginning of the club’s new session and also hosted the District Governor’s Official Club Visit (OCV).

District Governor Rotarian Poonam Gulati was the chief guest, while First Gentleman and Past District Governor Satpal Gulati attended as the guest of honor. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Past District Governors, DGRH, Assistant Governors, and presidents and secretaries from various Rotary clubs. Guests were welcomed with saplings, conveying a message of environmental conservation.

Following the oath-taking, President Stuti Mittal stated that the Rotary Club of Lucknow would prioritize education, health, women’s empowerment, environmental conservation, and assistance to the needy, while upholding its glorious tradition of social service. She affirmed that the club would work with renewed resolve and energy to bring about positive and lasting change in society through service.

While introducing the new executive committee, Secretary Karnika Shajwani outlined plans for the upcoming session. She mentioned that various service projects related to education, health awareness, environmental conservation, women’s empowerment, support for old-age homes, and other social causes would be conducted throughout the year. The club’s past social initiatives and public welfare projects were also highlighted during the event.

The ceremony was effectively conducted by Sangeeta Marwaha. The club’s annual magazine, ‘Chakra’, was also unveiled during the event. Under the coordination of Club Editor Sangeeta Mittal, the chief guest and other dignitaries launched the magazine. Members of the Rotary family present at the ceremony gave the new team a warm welcome and extended their best wishes for a successful tenure. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and the national anthem.
