The world’s biggest Ganesha idol, crafted entirely out of coins, was unveiled during the occasion. This feat is on its way to being registered in the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records.
The statue stands out for its impressive size and intricate craftsmanship. The Ganesha idol is 16.5 feet long, 9.5 feet tall, and 6 feet deep, weighing over 400 kilograms. More than ₹1,00,000 worth of coins of different denominations were used to create this masterpiece.
Phoenix Mall’s Senior Centre Director, Mr. Sanjeev Sareen, stated, “We have always strived to create something extraordinary, and this time we wanted to do something that would be a matter of pride not just for Lucknow but for the entire country. This intiative was in line of connecting with hearts of lucknowites. We hope this unique Ganesha idol inspires people and makes this Ganesh Chaturthi even more special.”
The event attracted not only devotees but also the general public, creating a festive atmosphere within the mall.
