Reinforcing its commitment to corporate social responsibility and community engagement, LuLu Group organised a special felicitation ceremony in collaboration with the Lucknow Traffic Police to recognise the dedicated service of traffic personnel. During the event, umbrellas were distributed to traffic police personnel, while women traffic officers were presented with helmets as a gesture of appreciation for their contribution to public safety and traffic management.
The ceremony was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Lucknow, Raghvendra Singh; Jayakumar Gangadharan, Director – Uttar Pradesh, Telangana & Delhi, LuLu Group; Noman Aziz Khan, Director – Karnataka, LuLu Group; along with senior officials from the traffic police and LuLu Group.
Addressing the gathering, Raghvendra Singh thanked LuLu Group for the initiative, stating that such recognition programmes boost the morale of traffic personnel and strengthen public trust and cooperation between the police and citizens. He urged people to follow traffic rules, wear helmets and seat belts, and actively contribute to road safety, describing it as a shared responsibility.
Jayakumar Gangadharan said traffic police personnel work tirelessly in all weather conditions to ensure safe and smooth movement of commuters. He reaffirmed LuLu Group’s commitment to supporting meaningful social initiatives and collaborating with public authorities for the welfare of society.
Noman Aziz Khan highlighted that LuLu Group’s vision extends beyond business excellence to creating a positive social impact through community-focused initiatives. He described the programme as an excellent example of constructive cooperation between the corporate sector and the administration.
